Mido still away from 'Boro

Egypt's Mido will continue to be fined by English club Middlesbrough as long as he fails to report for training.

The Egypt striker did not arrive back for pre-season training with the rest of his team-mates a fortnight ago, and has already been fined two weeks wages.
"It's very simple - Mido has to get himself back and into training with us," Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate said.

"This club will not be paying anybody who is not in training with us."
Southgate also insisted Mido, who spent the end of last season on loan at Wigan, must return to the club before his future can be discussed.

"We will deal with what happens after that as and when he's ready to join in with that training, but nothing will knock us off what we want to achieve," Southgate added.
"The players that want to be here have to have the focus they have showed so far and put the other distractions to one side."
Nathan133: "Oh deer. If I had a chance to be a footballer I would go to training all the time and probably be there training early! let hope there is nothing wrong with this Star!"
